Sonic.exe is the name of a creepypasta that was criticized for its horrible writing. It features a kid named Tom who finds a Sonic game with disturbing content on it.

Story
Sonic.exe was a creepypasta posted on May 9, 2011. It was later moved to Trollpasta.com. Many fans had taken the character "Sonic.exe" as a villian mainly in indie games on GameJolt called .exe games.
Character
Sonic.exe is an entity that was born in a void, or a rift between dimensions. He had no real identity until he found out about the Sonic franchise. He became so obsessed with it that he completed his formation and took the form of Sonic. As he was omnipotent, he had no power in the mortal universe, so he made a disc called SONIC.EXE, which could bring his dimension to the player and take his soul. He does not like to kill, but he has killed many people. He does not call them dead, but without a soul. Later after many of these victims getting trapped in his world, he was called Sonic.exe after the disc. He had liked the name and went on with it. He is not a demon or a devil, or a god, he is an entity that formed itself. One day, he could break into our dimension and unleash his death to all.
