The video was uploaded by Japanese comedian Kazuhito Kosaka, also known as Piko-Taro. Since it's release on August 25, 2016, it has had 105,347,313 views. (As of December 31, 2016.) Piko-Taro even later released extended version of the song. Many parodies have been made of it. He has appeared on YouTube Rewind 2016.
