Most people did not like this series when it was first shown and it was often shown as a "A cheep MLP: FiM ripoff" or "A poor man's version of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" for a few reasons. One reason is that with the dog, Zoe Trent, has a hair style and hair color similar to Twilight Sparkle. Another example is with the monkey Minka Mark, and many people at first said that she was basically a monkey version of Pinkie Pie. And another big one is that people said originally that it ripped offed Friendship is Magic is that they had Rainbow Dash's voice actor, Ashleigh Ball, voice the main character Blythe Baxter. Latter on there have been fanarts on DeviantART and memes on meme sites. Not everyone was stilled pleased with the show. There where and still are people who complain about this show ripping off Friendship is Magic, and also people who like the 1995 series better because most of them say that the eyes of the characters in this show are creepy and give them nightmares. Some of the people who didn't like MLP also most of the time don't like this show and also just like bronies get harrased for liking a show that they don't.The songs in this series are writen by the same person who writes songs for MLP: FiM, Daniel Ingram. Littlest Pet Shop has been getting more and more popular on the internet, and It is confirmed that there will be a second season of this show. One line by Minka Mark "I'm a space monkey" has been used in several videos, including YouTube Poops.
