"Woah" is a meme that came from the Crash Bandicoot game Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back! It occurs when Crash dies, resulting in a life loss. He first appeared on YouTube on a green screen video with a creepy version of crash on a green screen. He was created by Chris "Oney" Oneil. This meme also started the "Behind The Meme" Uproar. The meme has been popular since, being featured in Youtube Poops, on the title of a Big Ben remix, in meme remixes and other stuff.
The meme was also the characters to copy Crash Bandicoot saying "Woah". such as Coco Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog, Spyro the Dragon and Kirby.
It later in 2020 became an easter egg in video game Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, appears in A Hole in Space when collecting 18 Bumpa Berries before boss battle against N. Tropy and his female counterpart.
